I’ve built and sold two balloon business as well as a yard card business. On EPE, I’ll show you how to do the same!

This closing day celebration is simple, sweet, and helpful for anyone who wants to make a big move just a bit more exciting.

Who could plan a closing day celebration?

  • Realtors celebrating their client’s purchase!
  • Parents or friends of the new homeowner!
  • New neighbors saying “welcome” in a creative way.
  • Significant others for a sweet, special surprise.

Supplies needed for a closing day celebration:

Sometimes the sweetest parties in life are simple. This is definitely one of those. You can make it as special as you want. These are the basics I’d recommend as a nice moment for anyone celebrating closing on their home.

In true, “do as I say not as I do” fashion- this customized sign from Etsy really makes an impactful statement… as opposed to my hand written sign circa 2020.
Here’s a fun balloon bouquet from Amazon.

Tip: stay out of the way!!

There aren’t a lot of parties you can host without ever actually attending. This is one of them. Closing day can be stressful for a lot of people. It usually involves moving boxes, paperwork, and chaos.

As a contracted balloon artist in 2020, I hung the balloon garland and placed the sign on the front stoop of a home- so that the family could back their moving truck to the garage to still do everything they needed to that day. It was really important to the homeowner’s mother that we celebrate the special day, but even more important that they can do what they needed to.

If you’re wanting to make your own balloon garland for this celebration, be sure to make the garland somewhere else and deliver it for the closing day celebration. No one wants to deal with popped confetti balloons or little bits of latex in their brand new front yard!
