Here’s my breakdown of roughly when you should be thinking about major holidays and preparing content for your party business throughout the year. I make something along these lines each quarter. From there, I build an offer or product that I can push for 4-6 weeks to maximize my sales while making sure my clients know what I have to offer.
I will never forget my first year in the party business. I posted about 4th of July deals on July 1st… and got a whopping TWO orders. I learned that my clients like to think about (and order) for major holidays where they’re celebrating with family WEEKS in advance. Birthdays are more of a last-minute celebration, but for holidays where there are school closures or travel involved: you want to post ahead of time.
