Little Peanut Baby Shower

This little peanut baby shower is a super cute, easy to customize baby shower!

You can find the exact backdrop we used on Amazon for a really reasonable price. I love that it’s easy to customize, so that you can personalize the backdrop to add baby’s name or mama’s name! To make your own balloons like I did, check out my post that shares how to build a balloon garland!

Whether you’re celebrating a baby boy, girl, OR you’re choosing to not find out the gender, a little peanut baby shower is an adorable way to commemorate the occasion.

Equipment

This shower was hosted at a public venue (a restaurant’s party room) so the tables and chairs were handled using this location. We did decide to use a vintage peacock chair for mom-to-be to sit in while opening presents in front of the backdrop. This is a popular party rental for the bridal industry and adult parties, creating a really classic vintage look in any room or setting.

Food

Since this party was hosted at a restaurant’s party room, authentic cajun cuisine was provided for our 30 guests attending. The staff did their best to play up the peanut offerings available since our theme was “little peanut” and we really enjoyed mentioning the peanut sauce or oil when ordering. If we’d offered this theme at a different venue, I likely would’ve offered classic party foods like:

  • Charcuterie Board
  • Veggie Tray
  • Easy quiche
  • 1-2 Dips
  • Petit fours
  • Cake

Our little peanut momosa bar wasn’t a hit with mom to be… but our friends & family had a lot of fun with it! The elephants & colors really tied everything together.
